Black History Month needs a rethink

According to David Olusoga, a British-Nigerian historian and broadcaster writing in The Guardian, Black History Month needs a rethink.

David Olusoga has written an interesting ‘think piece’ as part of this year’s Black History Month. He says that it’s time to ditch the heroes, as the fixation on two-dimensional cardboard cut-out characters distorts the true story of the relationship between Britain and people of African descent.
