Jamaican Traditional Building Materials and Techniques

The FGSJ supports the work of the Wattle and Red Earth (WARE) Collective which promotes Jamaica’s traditional built environment. WARE champions the culture and heritage of rural communities in the parish of St Elizabeth in particular.

We want here to share information about traditional Jamaican building techniques and structures.
